This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Mimsy Harriet who was born in KIMENDE, Africa on September 21, 1981 and passed away on December 8, 2006. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Mimsy grew up as an obedient and responsible child. In her life she has been humble and a tidy girl. She was a cool child who was loved by all who interacted with her....and she reciprocated that LOVE

Mimsy was enrolled at Bathi Primary School in 1987 and completed in 1996. She then joined Senior Chief Koinange and sat for her K.C.S.E in the year 2000. She took computer courses at Quee computer college and later joined Lankia Computer College for her graphic design course until she met her death.

She had worked at Vivima Beauty Parlour  where she was very social with the clients and other employees. She engaged herselg in other temporary jobs in Nairobi

Trade Fair.

Mimsy was baptized as an infant and given the name Hilda Harriet Wairimu at P.C.E.A. Kirenga Church. She later took her own Baptism vows and was confirmed a member of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa.

Mimsy started to complain of a stomach upset on Sunday , December 3, 2006. On Monday, the 4th, she was taken to the hospital where she was treated and discharged on December 8th.

The same week she started to feel unwell again. She was taken to St Theresa Nursing Hospital by her mother where she was diagnosed with Typhoid and Diabetes then admitted.  Despite intensive efforts of the hospital staff, she unfortunately passed away peacefully at around 5:00pm at the age of 25.
